NHＫテレビ放送でもご存知の方もおられるかもしれない。華のある、という言葉がふさわしい華麗なるピアニスト。ロシア国内でも絶大な人気を誇り、著名指揮者たちからの信頼も厚い。今後が気にあるロシアの星である。
1990年モスクワ生まれ。モスクワ中央音楽学校を卒業し、モスクワ音楽院へ進む。セルゲイ・ドレンスキーのクラスで学んだ。
「21世紀の星」プロジェクトには度々選ばれている。英国、ドイツ、アメリカ、オランダ、フランス、イタリア、ギリシャ、ポーランド、スペイン、日本などの海外でツアーするほうか、ロシア全土でも演奏している。NHKテレビのためにショパン作品を収録したりするなど、日本での人気も高い。
ドイツのシューベルト国際コンクールなど、多くのコンクールに入賞を果たしている。スヴェトラーノフ記念ロシア国立交響楽団、モスクワ国立フィル、サンクト・ペテルブルク・フィル、ロシア国立交響楽団、チャイコフスキー交響楽団、新ロシア国立交響楽団、イギリス室内管などのオーケストラと共演し、ロストロポーヴィチ、スピヴァコフ、プレトニョフ、シモノフ、コロボフ、ドミトリエフ、ウィリアム・ノール、エフゲニ・ブシュコフ、ヴェンゲーロフ、ポール・ワトキンスといった指揮者たちと共演してきた。
マイアミ国際ピアノ・フェスティバル、バクーのロストロポーヴィチ記念音楽祭、バルティック・シーズン音楽祭、スピヴァコフ音楽祭、スター・オン・バイカル、クレッシェンド、ホワイトナイトなどの音楽祭から招待を受け演奏。またマリインスキー劇場では新作バレエ「Without」の初演にも関わった。
今シーズンはモスクワ音楽院、チャイコフスキー・コンサートホール、ロシア・ナショナル・フィル、ロシアシンフォニック・カペレ、スヴェトラーノフ記念ロシア国立響などにも出演する。
Philipp Kopachevsky, piano
Graduated from the Central School of Music of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and the Moscow Conservatoire itself (class of Sergei Dorensky).
Regular participant of the Stars of the 21st Century project at the Moscow State Philharmonic. Tours to Great Britain, Germany, the USA, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Greece, Poland, Spain, Japan and cities throughout Russia. He has gained particular popularity in Japan, where specially for a commission for NHK he recorded a disc of piano works by Chopin.
Prize-winner at eight international competitions including the International Franz Schubert Piano Competition in Germany. Has appeared with such ensembles as the Yevgeny Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Philharmonic, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St Petersburg State Philharmonic, the Russian National Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra. Has collaborated with the conductors Mstislav Rostropovich, Vladimir Spivakov, Mikhail Pletnev, Yuri Simonov, Yevgeny Kolobov, Alexander Dmitriev, William Noll, Charles Olivieri-Munroe, Yevgeny Bushkov, Maxim Vengerov and Paul Watkins.
Has appeared at the Miami Piano Festival, the Mstislav Rostropovich Memorial Festival in Baku, the Baltic Seasons festival, the Vladimir Spivakov Invites festival, Stars on Baikal , Crescendo, Denis Matsuev Invites and Stars of the White Nights . Was involved in the world premiere of Benjamin Millepied’s ballet Without at the Mariinsky Theatre.
Engagements for the current season include concerts at the Moscow Conservatoire and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and appearances with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under Jan Latham-Koenig, the State Academic Symphony Cappella of Russia under Philipp Chizhevsky and the State Academic Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra under Terje Mikkelsen.
